"TO PREPARE GOD'S PEOPLE FOR WORKS OF SERVICE, SO THAT THE BODY OF CHRIST MAY BE BUILT UP, UNTIL WE ALL REACH UNITY IN THE FAITH AND IN THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE SON OF GOD AND BECOME MATURE, ATTAINING TO THE WHOLE MEASURE OF THE FULLNESS OF CHRIST."
(EPHESIANS 4:12-13)

The mission of the Pacific Institute of Word and Witness is to engage and equip church and community leaders in preaching and teaching the Bible.  We believe that appropriating the Biblical text to grapple with the dynamic personal, social, and missional context of the 21st century is essential and imperative for prophetic leadership.

We accept the challenge of engaging the 21st Century Church and its leadership to address the socio-cultural context of post-civil rights, post-modernity, post-Christendom era, and the emergent hip hop generation.

The Pacific Institute of Word and Witness is committed to empowering ministers, preachers, pastors, evangelists, missionaries, activists, and laity in appropriating, Biblical texts to our ministry, church, and community contexts.  We offer opportunities to refine and refresh the craft of preaching and teaching the Word of God.

"HOW BEAUTIFUL ARE THE FEET OF THEM THAT PREACH THE GOSPEL OF PEACE AND BRING GOOD TIDINGS OF GOOD THINGS!" (Romans 10:15)
